
Javier Echeverría
(Pamplona, 1948). Ph.D. in Philosophy from the Complutense University of Madrid and in Sciences and Humanities from the Université Paris-Sorbonne. Emeritus Professor at the University of the Basque Country and at the Institute of Philosophy of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). Winner of the Anagrama Essay Prize in 1995, the Euskadi Prize for Research in Humanities and Social Sciences in 1997, and the National Essay Prize in 2000. Member of Jakiunde, the Academy of Sciences, Arts, and Letters of the Basque Country, as well as of the International Academy of Philosophy of Science. His most recent work is titled: “Leibniz, the Archphilosopher” (Plaza y Valdés, 2023).
